Stationary Shoulder FSW
The bits (left) rotate while the shoulder (right) remains motionless, reducing the amount of excess heat generated by friction. This results in less thermal distortion of the pieces.
Characteristics
Without flash during welding process
Low heat inputting and small deformation
Any angle of plate welding can be achieved (such as 90°,180°,202° and so on)
Applications
motor shells, water-cooled plates, battery trays, car wheels, etc
Rail trains, aerospace, new energy auto parts
